Why are men the way they are sometimes? Why is it that when you just want to be friends with a guy, they immediately assume you want more? Why do they act completely different and sometimes disrespectful when they are in front of their friends compared to when you finally talk with them one-on-one? Personally, i dont understand it and i wish it could be explained better. My good friend Jasmine [ Jazze A ; i call her ayy ] always tells me that boys like like this are mostly concerned with their self-image and try to boost themselves up by bringing others, such as myself, down. she's so right too ; people think that girls have the most insecurities and the bigger issues with their self-esteem but this is not always true. guys rag on each other nowadays about everything: size [in every type], tone of voice, the way they can "bag a chick", sex appeal, talent in sports, etc. you get my point. It's so true when people say that being a teenager today is so much harder than it used to be...and its not going to get any easier. so i say we all try to work together instead of working to make someone's teenagehood a living hell. can we agree on that? ill be the first DJ to concur...mhm you heard right...
